The PRP Hair Restoration Process

This treatment usually happens in the doctor’s office and takes about an hour. First, a simple blood draw will be performed. Dr. Melancon then puts your blood in a centrifuge, which spins and separates your plasma from your blood. Once the plasma is separated, Dr. Melancon will prepare your injections and then inject the PRP into the target areas. After this is complete, your treatment is done.

There is little to no downtime needed after your injection(s)

You may feel sore after the procedure at the injection sites, but that should quickly fade. You may also have slight swelling and bruising, which should go down quickly. Most people are able to resume their normal daily activities shortly after receiving a PRP injection.
